The starting point

A solid company in a sector in crisis

When Thermia Barcelona started working with Duett in 2014, the industrial sector was still feeling the effects of the 2008 financial crisis.

Less new construction, more competition and tight margins. Thermia had the product and the technical know-how, but its image did not match its ambition: to reinvent itself and grow beyond Spain.

The decision

Investing in communication while everyone else was cutting back

While much of the sector was cutting investment, Thermia's management bet on communication. The goal: to build a brand able to compete on value, not price, and to open up new international markets.

The strategy

«Ventanas para vivir mejor»

We redefined the brand's positioning: moving beyond profiles and technical specs to talk about what a window gives people. Light, comfort and quality of life.

From that idea came the baseline "Ventanas para vivir mejor" (windows for better living), which became the backbone of all Thermia's communication: catalogues, campaigns, trade fairs, website and social media.

Thermia Barcelona brand taglines: "Ventanas para vivir mejor" and "Window Designers".

The result

One of the most highly regarded brands in the sector

Twelve years on, Thermia Barcelona is one of the most highly regarded brands in its sector. The brand has been key to opening markets abroad: its technology is installed in 17 countries and the company leads the South American market.
